The Village Concept

Snodon was the name of the original Native American settlement in the city now called Winder. The project will continue to honor this history and promote the village as a community gathering site.

Wide sidewalks, traditional lamp posts, and distinctive architecture will provide a setting reminiscent of a previous generation. Community events, such as jazz concerts, local art shows, and farmer’s markets will also be held at Snodon Village.
